Mad Thoughts of A Writer

{November 21, 2008}   Behind Every Literary Piece

Imabel Kaisha is derived from the names of FatIMA, YsaBEL, KAte (me) and Megan aISHA. We always write four stanza-poems. The first stanza is always written by me; the second by Fatima; the third by Ysabel; and the last one by Aisha. Often times we do this when we get bored in class and I just suddenly pass them my first stanza. If I start it, automatically, they add up their ideas. At first, these were just scratch papers until Fatima decided to compile it in a special notebook. At last! Since I have my own site, I asked for their approval and posted it here.

Night Walks is my very first story in Ftalk. I was inspired by Ate Kim (the most popular author in that site) to write my own story. This was based partly on my own love life and some, just a part of my ever so crazy mind. This is the most memorable so far because it is closest to my heart and this was the story that launched my writing “career” in Ftalk. Besides, I observed that after I started my own story, a lot followed on as well, so I want to think that somehow I inspired some of the authors of that site.

Deviant Love is the second story I made. It is named after people close to me Nikki Saldivar (from the name of my best friend, Nicole Zaldivar) and Aljay Lim (Aljay is the nickname and Lim is the middle name of my previous crush). Every person in this story is based from a true person that I know. The events were true as well. What I did is combine my own story with the story of my friends, just let these events happen to one person. This is a cute story that often brings a lot of memories to me.

Seventeen is from the play I have made during my sophomore year. We were asked to make a story based from the original song written by a fellow batch mate (who happened to be my friend, Jinza Paraiso). I made this after I came from our sem break where I met again, after two years, my crush in the province who happened to like me as well. That’s where I get the inspiration to write the story. As I was browsing my old files, I saw this and so from the script of the play, I turned it into the story.
